First class paediatric care underpinned by the latest research and compassion

As one of Australia’s leading centres for specialist paediatric medicine we care for over 15,000 babies, children and teens each year.

  • Every Step of the Way.

Parenthood is a joyous and challenging responsibility. It can be the happiest and most rewarding time of your life.

On the other hand it can be daunting if you are worried about your child.

It’s reassuring to know that you have the guidance and support of your paediatrician every step of the way.

  • Child Centred.

At Leading Steps Paediatric Clinic we share a passion for paediatric medicine that inspires everything we do.

Knowledge and wisdom, care and compassion are integral to our child-centered focus.

  • Quality Care.

We count quality care as our highest priority.

That’s why we take the time to give you our full attention.

At Leading Steps we know health issues can be complex and getting the correct diagnosis and management plan for your child will make a difference into the future.

  • Team Work.

The group of independent paediatricians have a collegiate approach and are always prepared to organise a second opinion for diagnosis and management.

The independent paediatricians recognise and respect the expertise of our colleagues and often consult and confer with each other regarding unusual or complex conditions.

  • Results.

We are committed to timely reporting of results from any testing done. If you haven’t heard in a reasonable time (say two weeks, unless told specifically the test may take longer) about a result that you are expecting, please contact our clinic. Once again, quality care is our highest priority.

  • Teaching.

Our clinic takes its responsibilities to the health of children seriously and this includes educating other doctors.

We educate General Practitioners and medical students and an “Advanced Training Paediatric Registrar” works in our rooms, under our supervision.

If you prefer not to have a student or registrar present during the consultation please let the receptionists or doctor know.
